Today i went to Tate Modern as i said before to make a further research on Barbara Kruger.I was quite lucky i think and i am glad i went because on the very last floor of Tate Modern (5th floor) it was a department dedicated to the 'Guerrilla Girls'.I had a flash back on the biography of B.K. that she is a guerrilla artist.I took some really interesting photos and i bought a magazine called The Guerrila Girls Art Museum-Activity Book.It really hepled today to explore more on this group called Guerrilla Girls and the fact that 'my artist' belongs here made me see and learn her beliefs and values and now i understand why she produces this work-quotes.The Guerrilla Girls (and B.K.) make a statement, the discrimination that there is between women and men, that they don't ALLOW anymore.She/They are put up with this situation and she/they are trying throught their statements of words to make the dramatic change.See for yourself..
