Missed one day of posting due to the fact that it wouldnt open the main blogger website..Yesterday we had a crit for part 2 and each group had to answer a questionaire contained from 5 questions like: 1.Describe the first publication of the magazine in front of you and its meaning. 2.What has happened now you have transferred the new material into the original layout? 3.Generate an overview of what the group is looking to do in part 3. 4.What have you learnt about using a web-blog in the project so far? 5.What have you learnt on the project so far?
I am going to ansewr to questions no 4 and no 5 which i think they are overall of this porject so far. 4.It's the first time i use a web-blog at the beggining i thought that it was a bit irritating because everything you do you have to scan or put in in there. But as the project was going on i noticed that is usefull for me cause i can use it as reference show a bit of personal work-which is published and shared with others-put feelings and thoughts down and write down stuff that i cant put in a sketchbook.
5.I have learn the basics in in-design which i never used before, now i do appreciate layouts of maagzines, books, newspapers and i know how much hard work it is.Typography is a subject that i love and through out this project i studied more like how many fonts they exist and how similar they can look but in detail there are so many differences.
After the crit yesterday when i went home i was so confused about part 3.i had an idea and i did some research as well but when i said what i want to do i didnt think that the tutors liked it.And at the end they said for part 3 to be creative and that this the fun bit of the project. So i was too worried and last night took out some books old sketchbooks and started doing some research and i said to my self...'come on then lets be creative'.Here i have some sketchbook pages i did back in 2004 and by coinsidence i found this page that i took from an article and played around with it...I really miss working in a sketchbook like this way..
